I am currently enrolled as a PhD student at UWA, Australia from 23 October 2017 to date. My PhD research project will focus on soil acidity management through the approach of foliar application of magnesium. Broadly, my research project will emphasis on Aluminium toxicity of soil in acidic condition with the variation in root architecture and root exudates from wheat differing in Al toxicity resistance level.

Due to acidifying farming system in all over the world, soil pH is decreasing gradually and this problem leads to decreased crop yield. My resaerch finding will explore the effectiveness of foliar Mg to alleviate Al toxicity on wheat plants, which can be the best approach for minimizing the adverse effect of soil acidity and can save the huge cost involved in liming.
